Simon Marriott

Simon is a distinguished senior executive with over three decades of experience in advanced manufacturing. He is widely recognized as a trailblazer in the additive manufacturing industry, having established one of Australia’s earliest 3D printing service bureaus in 1993. Additionally, Simon served as Vice President of 3D Systems Asia Pacific, a prominent global supplier of 3D content-to-print solutions, offering personal, professional, and production 3D printers. He also held the role of Managing Director at Amaero Engineering Pty Ltd, a manufacturer of aerospace components utilizing additive manufacturing techniques.

Simon’s professional affiliations include serving as a former Councillor for the Design Institute of Australia and as a past Director of Titomic (TTT), an initial public offering start-up operating in the additive manufacturing sector. He presently serves as a Director of the IMCRC, which provides government funding for additive manufacturing research to support Australian manufacturers.
