ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification

Formero has announced the successful completion of its ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
Australia, Melbourne – Formero (formerly GoProto ANZ), an Australian Additive Manufacturer (3D Printing) and contract manufacturer, has been awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification. The stringent process analyses the business’s operations from top to bottom, seeking commitment to quality at every level.

Formero’s ISO certification was accelerated as a result of a grant awarded by the Centre for Defence Industry Capability, in recognition of Formero’s potential to manufacture Aerospace and Defence components in-country which will contribute significantly to Australia’s sovereign industrial capability priorities.
ISO 9001 is quickly gaining acceptance among 3D printing and contract manufacturers as a foundation for their quality programs. As Australia’s largest 3D printing facility, the company operates six different additive manufacturing technologies inhouse for prototyping and end-use applications, as well as providing 3D scanning, machining and injection moulding services.
